How does my client pay for services?
Peer support is covered by Medicaid / Medical Assistance, so there's no out-of-pocket cost for eligible clients. We verify benefits when the referral comes in.
What information do you need to start?
Just the basics to begin: your name and organization, the client's county, and anything you think we should know. We follow up for any remaining details and consent.
Will I hear back after I refer?
Yes. Our intake team reaches out to confirm the referral and keeps you in the loop as your client gets connected with a specialist — no black hole.
Where do services take place?
Wherever works for the client — at home, in the community, or via telehealth. That flexibility removes transportation and clinic barriers.
How is peer support different from therapy or case management?
A Certified Peer Specialist has lived their own recovery and uses that experience to walk alongside your client — turning clinical goals into everyday steps. It complements clinical care rather than replacing it.
Do you work with justice-involved clients?
Yes. We're among the first in Pennsylvania to offer forensic peer support, including in-jail PREP groups and reentry support.
